Alexis believes "all women can benefit from the make-up tricks of the stars," and has created make-up products to share these secrets and "help women discover their own natural beauty along with the self-confidence, power, and fun that come from looking like a star."

"I design make-up colors, kits, tools and techniques with every woman in mind, completely Universal!," she says. She is some one who admires the latest celebrity inspired make up looks, but does not have the time to waste on expensive make up products that do not work. Woman call it the Alexis Style, because her products include not only professional quality make up and application tools, but also a manual that shows you how to use these tools. It encompasses everything a woman needs to look and feel beautiful!"

Just as important as the proper make up tools, are the skills to use them. Says Alexis...
With her follow along step-by-step, easy to follow instruction guides, you can learn how to get that celebrity "Alexis look" anytime. Ever wonder how Sharon Stone gets those gorgeous eyes or how Pam Anderson has those perfectly pouty lips? Alexis knows and loves to teach you exactly how to achieve these, as well as many more celebrity beauty tips.
In addition to working as an editorial make-up artist at such magazines as Allure, Interview and Playboy (dubbed Alexis their "secret weapon"), her celebrity client list includes some of Hollywood's hottest stars such as Sharon Stone, Pamela Anderson, Gwen Stefani, Paula Abdul to name just a few.

Alexis on Sharon Stone:
She is very cool. She loves to look glamorous but in the more Classic Retro Hollywood way, which is very fun to do ... Sharon loves her eyebrows full & natural, but I still shaped them with a pencil to develop a bit more of an arch in the brow, it gives you more attitude and character. They always had gorgeous brows in the 40's & 50's classic brow not too thin (like the 60's) that is so yesterday, and not too thick either that's too 80's! Pencils work much better & last much longer than using powder on the brows! Also you can shape much better with a pencil, you can't draw with powder now can you?

Alexis on Pamela Anderson:
When Pamela goes out at night she loves to be very glamorous. That is fun for her, she is the "Icon Monroe" for our times and the cameras are everywhere she is, therefore why not always be camera ready, right? That means she loves the whole signature look from start to finish. We must always keep her lips very full with lots of her favorite nude lip sticks, with a lip liner that is a little darker than the lipstick so that there is some pop, contour and then I highlight the bottom pout with a very luscious gloss, not all over just the pout.
One of the newest, and exciting, projects Alexis has been working on is Pamela Anderson's much anticipated new FOX show STACKED. The premiere episode aired on FOX right after American Idol on Wednesday, April 13th, 2005. Alexis is both Pamela's make-up artist and hair stylist for this television show. The new season starts again this fall.

Alexis on Rosie O'Donnell:
She is too much fun, when I did her make-up she actually trusted me so much. She let me glam her up a bit from her everyday look, she really truly is a very funny person. It is hard to do make-up when I am laughing so much, that was the hardest part. Actually she very nice and easy to do. I stuck with the natural earth tones on her using iridescent eye shadows and blush, as opposed to the matte colors. They are so much prettier. I find that they move with the light better on camera, and in real life. On the skin, that glow becomes so alive and the style is very current. I used a bronze colored eye shadow on her and I played up her eyes in a soft, kitten kind of way and you know what she loved it and said it was the first time she had ever been done like that! She went on stage and did a great job feeling very confident. I think the 3 or 4 little individual lashes I added in the corner of her eyes didn't hurt either!

Alexis on Carmen Electra:
When I work with Carmen she is so sweet but she has a lot of energy, and when we are doing a photo shoot her dance movements always play into her work, she is very active and so I make sure her make-up will not melt off, so I use a very good professional foundation, they used to call it Pan stick, but we call it cream base. I apply it sheer and as thin of coverage as possible. She has very good skin, but the base holds on the face! That is my saying, and you don't need to put it on heavy to do a good job just blend it well and make sure you put powder all over it to set it in place to keep the staying power ..."Powder for Power"! You can always mist cream foundation with Evian spray or a facial mist to keep it fresh and glowing.

Alexis on TV's American Idol:
Alexis directed all make-up for the hit television show, American Idol. She and her hand-picked team created "the looks" for the entire cast of this blockbuster show, including the host and judges. In fact, Alexis treated one of the judges, Paula Abdul, to a delicious glamour-girl makeover for the show. Alexis also created a soft, fresh look for the contestants to emphasize their individual personalities and youth. But as the competition intensified, Alexis intensified the looks of the finalists, including Kelly Clarkson, with a stronger, sexier palette that developed each contestant's look into a unique "signature style." In addition, Alexis gave contestants the confidence to go out on stage knowing they looked their very best.

How it all began:
Alexis was born at a hospital on Hollywood's famed Sunset Boulevard. Her father was an accomplished oil painter who helped her develop an artist's eye for looking at the world. From her mother, winner of countless beauty pageants, Alexis gained a love of cosmetics, clothes and glamour, as well as a deep appreciation of how a woman's looks effect her confidence, self-esteem and opportunities. Pursuing her passion for riding, Alexis won over 500 Championships, including a National Championship Gold Medal and a spot on the U.S. Olympic Equestrian team. Alexis attended UCLA and worked as a Nursing Assistant before she enrolled in the Joe Blasco make-up Academy in Hollywood, recognized as a top school for professional make-up.

The genius behind those famous "signature looks":
Alexis Vogel is credited with creating the "sex kitten" look that propelled Pamela Anderson to fame. Known throughout the professional make-up world for giving her clients smoky, "cat-eye" glamour and other signature looks, Alexis is also known as a genius for keeping celebrities looking spectacular and fresh through long days that include photo shoots, guest appearances, and glamorous evenings on the town. In her Beverly Hills office & Studio, Alexis also works with clients who are not in the public eye, but who want to experience how a professional makeover can change their looks - and their life. In addition, Alexis draws on her early experience as an Emergency Room Nursing Assistant to reach out to patients who have undergone plastic or reconstructive surgery. Through her gentle approach and proven make-up techniques, Alexis helps these patients learn how to recover their looks and their confidence.

A lifetime of beauty:
"Maybe you'll never make the Grammy Awards. Maybe you'll never make a movie or a magazine cover. But you can still "star" in your own life. The secret is bringing out your own natural beauty. Enhance, enhance, enhance! Because when you do, you bring out more than just good looks. You bring out your own natural confidence, too. I've dedicated my career to giving clients "star-quality" confidence. Now with make-up by Alexis, I can share my special artistic talents and skills with you!"
