Makeup by Deborah Lamia Denaver
Skin prep - La Mer Light Day moisturizer.
Base - Shu Uemura Nobara foundation cream No. 764 mixed with a touch of No. 564 applied with a lightly moist sponge to create an almost white canvas.
Concealer - Shu Uemura Mark concealer in No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6. where needed. Cleau de peau under the eyes as a highlighter.
Powder - Shu Uemura loose powder in Camel applied lightly.
Blush - Shu Uemura blush in M Wine 23 and M Pink 31 to give an apple shape to her cheeks.
Eye shadow - To create the dark and dramatic look of Serleena, Debra applied Shu Uemura pressed eye shadow powders in M970 in the outer corners, M990 from center of lid to outer corner, and a combination of M698 and P940, blended from the center of the lid to the inner corner.
Eye liner - A thin line of MAC eye pencil in Ebony was applied along the lash line with La Femme Cake eyeliner sealer in black over it for a dramatic effect. To finish the eye she applied MAC Ebony to both inner top and bottom lashes. The outcome - dark, smoldering and mysterious eyes.
Lashes - Shu Uemura individual flare lashes in black to extend ends of the eye to give that cat-eyed look. Lashes were curled with Shu Uemura's lash curler and coated with Almay One Coat mascara in black.
Brows - Lara's favorite thing was Anastasia Medium Ash Brow pencil (her own) which she applied to brows "for that wonderful strong arched look," explains Debra.
Lips - Nars lip pencil and lipstick in China Red applied sharp and clean, then blotted.
Touch-ups - Throughout the day, to maintain the look, La Mer Compact Powder in Oyster Shell was used and BeneFit's Eye Bright pencil to keep corner of eyes sharp and clean.
