In Casino Royale, Italian actress Caterina Murino plays Solange, the trophy wife of a man James Bond is investigating. UK-based make-up artist Melissa Lackersteen describes Solange’s look as “glamorous, sexy.” This picture is from the scene where Solange and Bond meet for the first time — on a beach, as it happens. “I felt,” Lackersteen says, “she would be the type of woman to wear make-up even on the beach.”

Skin care: Lackersteen used Clarins Cleansing Milk with Alpine Herbs; Clarins Toning Lotion for dry or normal skin; and Clarins Instant Eye Make-Up Remover.
Foundation: Visiora Crème Face Makeup in Medium (MV 003).
Concealer: Dermacolor Camouflage Crème in D-3.
Powder: Clinique Blended Face Powder in Transparency Neutral.
Cheeks: MAC Powder Blush in Fleur Power.
Eye shadow: MAC Eye Shadow in Tempting combined with MAC Eye Shadow in Sprout. “Caterina has the most beautiful hazel-colored eyes,” says Lackersteen, “so I mixed a bronze and green eye shadow together to complement them.”
Eye liner:MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack.
Brows: No products were used on the brows.
Mascara: Lancôme Hypnôse in Black.
False lashes: None
Lips: MAC Lip Pencil in Stripdown. Lackersteen also used Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick in Clear.
